Karen HaleMy phenomenal journey with Phenomenal Fitness began in 2001. At that time, I realized that I did not like pictures of myself because I was fat. Until that time, I thought it was because I was not photogenic. However, after a candid conversation with my Mother, an honest review of pictures of me at that time and the epiphany that the noise I made when I walked came from my thighs rubbing together, based upon a friend’s recommendation, I sought out Sean Armstead in early 2001. Until meeting Sean, I believed that by running 3 miles per day, I could eat anything I wanted. Sean quickly disabused of me that notion and my journey began.
For me the most wonderful thing about Phenomenal Fitness is that it permitted me to grow at my own pace and to set my own goals. I have trained with Sean, Sara and Zak Kroeger (for the last 5 years). Over the years my physical workouts –cardio and strength training—have remained solid. However, I have been able to refine my nutrition at my own pace and in the last year in working with Zak , I am close to having the body I have always wanted.
Zak is a fantastic trainer who is supportive but also motivational. Zak is extremely knowledgeable about the human body, strength training and nutrition. He focuses on each of his clients and works with them to set their own goals, not his. He then provides you with all of the tools that you need to achieve those goals. The rest is up to you! With his support, I have continued to increase my strength while cutting by body fact exponentially. At 41 years of age, I am healthiest I have ever been and look my best ever!!! Without Zak and Phenomenal Fitness, I would not have been able to come even close to meeting my goals!
