Sean Armstead, CSCS, NSCA-CPT, NASM-CPT, C.H.E.K Nutrition & Lifestyle Coach, Level II, RKC, CFI, AKC
Sean Armstead, has been a personal trainer since 1993. He is a former U.S. Marine Corps Captain and has received numerous fitness related awards. His expertise is further evidenced by the many personal training and fitness related certifications he holds. These include:
- Certified Personal Trainer through the National Academy of Sports Medicine (NASM) and
- Certified Strength and Conditioning Specialist (CSCS) through the National Strength and Conditioning Association (NSCA).
- Certified Personal Trainer with NSCA, (NSCA-CPT)
- Russian Kettle Certification (RKC),
- Certified Fitness Instructor (CFI) with the International Kettlebell Fitness Federation (IKFF),
- Certified Coach with the American KettleBell Club,
- Nutrition and Life Style Coach Level II with Chek Institute.
- He has also completed an extensive 10 month course in Muscle Activation Techniques (MAT).
Sean is the Illinois State Director for the National Strength and Conditioning Association as well as the Regional Coordinator for the Great Lakes (IL, WI, KY, IND, MI) Region for the NSCA.
He is passionate about discovering effective methods and protocols innovative exercise techniques to help each client achieve the highest possible level of fitness and structural integrity.
Sean's holistic approach to fitness is attentive to the client's mind, body, and spirit. He subscribes to the belief that all three must operate in harmony if true fitness is to be achieved. Sean's fitness creed is: "The heart of a successful conditioning program is commitment, consistency and correctness."
